연결 키, 봉투 기록, 설정값은 오직 사용자의 기기(iOS·Android 보안 저장소 포함)에만 저장됩니다. 이 정보는 기기를 떠나지 않으므로 개발자를 포함한 누구도 원격으로 열람할 수 없습니다. 앱을 삭제하면 함께 삭제됩니다.
속말(비밀 메시지)은 기기에서 AES-256-GCM 방식으로 암호화된 뒤 사용자가 선택한 메신저를 통해 전달됩니다. Coo는 메시지를 저장하거나 중계하지 않으며, 암호화 키는 메시지에 포함되지 않습니다.

구독 결제는 Apple App Store 또는 Google Play가 처리합니다. Coo는 카드번호 등 결제 정보에 접근할 수 없으며, 구독 활성 여부만 기기 내에서 확인합니다.
무료 사용자에게는 Google AdMob이 제공하는 광고가 표시됩니다. 광고를 보여주고 그 성과를 측정하기 위해 Google이 기기 식별자(광고 ID), IP 주소와 이를 바탕으로 추정한 대략적인 지역, 광고와의 상호작용, 진단 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다. 비밀 메시지, 보이는 메시지, 연결 정보, 대화 상대는 광고에 사용되지 않으며 Google에 전달되지 않습니다. 구독 중에는 광고를 표시하거나 요청하지 않습니다. iPhone에서는 '추적 허용'을 선택한 경우에만 기기 식별자가 맞춤 광고에 쓰이고, Android에서는 기기 설정에서 광고 ID를 삭제하거나 재설정할 수 있습니다. 동의가 필요한 지역에서는 동의 창에서 선택한 범위 안에서만 처리하며, 앱 설정의 '광고 개인정보 설정'에서 선택을 바꿀 수 있습니다. Cloudflare에는 접속 시각·IP 주소 등 일반적인 웹 접속 기록이 남을 수 있으나, 저희는 이 기록을 수집하거나 열람하지 않습니다.
Coo는 아동을 대상으로 제공되는 서비스가 아닙니다. 해당 지역 법률상 동의할 수 없는 아동의 정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다. 관련 삭제 요청은 아래 연락처로 문의해 주세요.

Coo does not send message content or conversation partners to its server. Usage statistics are collected only after separate optional consent. Free users see ads; message content and conversation partners are never used for ads.
Coo has no accounts and no login. We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, or contacts, and the app does not use your device’s location services (GPS). Secret messages, connection keys, and connection details are never sent to a Coo server. The app communicates to provide the intro video, verify store purchases, check updates, and show ads to free users. It sends usage statistics only with consent, as described below.
Connection keys, envelope records, and settings are stored solely on your device (including iOS/Android secure storage). This data never leaves your device, so no one — including the developer — can access it remotely. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Secret messages are encrypted on-device with AES-256-GCM before being shared through a messenger of your choice. Coo does not store or relay messages, and encryption keys are never included in messages.
The camera is used only to scan pairing QR codes. Images are not saved or transmitted.
Biometric authentication is used to unlock the app. Biometric data is processed by the operating system (iOS/Android) on-device; Coo receives only a success/failure result.
Subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Coo cannot access your payment details and only verifies subscription status on-device.
Free users see ads provided by Google AdMob. To show ads and measure their performance, Google may process a device identifier (advertising ID), your IP address and the approximate region inferred from it, interactions with ads, and diagnostic data. Secret messages, visible messages, connection details, and conversation partners are never used for ads and are never sent to Google. While you are subscribed, Coo does not show or request ads. On iPhone, the device identifier is used for personalized ads only if you choose “Allow” on the tracking prompt; on Android, you can delete or reset your advertising ID in device settings. In regions where consent is required, processing stays within the choices you make in the consent dialog, and you can change them under “Ad privacy settings” in the app’s settings. Apart from advertising, the Coo app contains no external analytics SDK. With optional consent, daily usage statistics are processed through Cloudflare Workers and D1 and used by the Coo operator to improve the service and make product decisions. We do not sell these usage statistics to advertisers or combine them with other companies’ data.
The localized intro video that auto-plays on first launch and can be skipped, and the invitation link used to pair with a friend (sendcoo.com/connect), are served through Cloudflare. When preparing the intro video, the app requests only the public video URL for the selected language; it sends no secret message, connection details, or device identifier. The invitation page only hands the invite code off to the app and has no database or storage that retains it. Cloudflare may retain standard web access records, such as request time and IP address, but we do not collect or access those records.
Coo is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children who cannot consent under applicable local law. Please contact us below about related deletion requests.
Updates to this policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

With your consent, Coo sends daily counts of app sessions and usage time, connections, secret creation and opening, subscription screen views, purchase and restore results, and return visits to its server. Reports also include the app build, major OS version, app language and a report code that changes daily.
We do not send message content, conversation partners, connection keys, contacts, location or advertising identifiers.
Daily reports are kept for 45 days. Recovery copies may remain for up to 30 more days after deletion. Aggregated statistics are kept for up to 13 months.
Participation is optional. You can use the app if you decline. In Settings, you can stop collection and request deletion of retained daily reports at any time. Individual contributions cannot be removed from statistics already aggregated.

Withdrawing consent stops collection and requests deletion using recent report codes retained on this device. Offline requests remain on the device and retry when the app is reopened. Uninstalling removes these deletion credentials, so individual reports can no longer be located and expire under the retention schedule. When the app runs, it removes local reports and deletion credentials older than 45 days. Upload retries are limited to seven days. Recovery copies are not used for analytics; raw daily reports must be cleared before service resumes after a server restore. We do not use cookies or advertising identifiers for statistics; this consent is not advertising tracking consent.
